ABOUT US

Matt Orr

Managing Partner

Since 2010, Matt has been actively pursuing commercial real estate investments of both new construction projects and those that require extensive renovation after initial acquisition. Matt has led acquisition efforts on multiple sites for ground-up construction of urban infill projects in Seattle. Matt’s specialty has always been his ability to see the integral pieces of the deal early in order to secure the land and assemble the best team possible.

Prior to his investment efforts, Matt was a commercial mortgage broker for Capmark (formerly GMAC Commercial Finance) focused primarily on Fannie, Freddie, and HUD multifamily debt. Before joining Capmark, he learned the debt side of the commercial real estate business at Symetra (formerly Safeco Life) as a lender servicing their portfolio across the country.  The majority of his loans at this point were small loan balances, but they spanned the commercial spectrum with a focus on small warehouse, office, and multifamily.

Matt has a BA degree in Design and Planning Studies from the University of Washington’s School of Architecture.

Adam Brown

Partner

Adam has experience across a number of disciplines within commercial real estate: valuation, corporate consulting, brokerage, and development. Beginning his career in valuations for FDIC insured transactions, Adam honed his skills in financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and economic forecasting. He then moved into corporate consulting and brokerage helping clients like Starbucks Corporation, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and University of Washington make strategic decisions regarding their real estate needs.

Whether it was planning a new long-range plan for the areas immediately surrounding campus or accommodating parking needs for the world headquarters of an ever-expanding global coffee enterprise, Adam has put the fundamentals of real estate to work to help discover the best solution for clients’ real estate concerns. Immediately prior to teaming up with Matt, Adam advised buyers and sellers of Affordable Housing around the nation through a comprehensive understanding of Section 42 of the IRS Code influencing Low Income Housing Tax Credit apartments.
